Sherry Jo Fite

Funeral services for Sherry Jo Fite, 44 year-old Weatherford resident, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Weatherford First Baptist Church, with John Wohlgemuth officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Cemetery in Hobart, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home in Weatherford.
Miss Fite died Tuesday, July 1, 2014. She was born July 24, 1969 in Hobart, the daughter Roger and Karen (LaFever) Fite.]
She was raised and attended school in Carnegie, Piedmont and Weatherford.
Ms. Fite graduated from Weatherford High School where she ran track and played basketball.  She went on to attend a school in Yukon where she attained her cosmetology license and worked as a hair stylist at Fantastic Sam’s.
She moved to Weatherford in 2006 and had been working at Smart Styles.
Survivors include her father, Roger Fite and his wife, Michelle, of Edmond; her mother, Karen Skinner of Weatherford; one daughter, Kecia Walker of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Caleb McNeely and Adam McNeely, both of Weatherford; four brothers, Bryan Skinner and his wife, Sage, of Weatherford, Troy Fite and his wife, Jacie, of Edmond, Cody Skinner of Weatherford and Lance Fite and his wife, Rachel, of San Mateo, Calif.; a paternal grandparent, Troy Fite of Cordell; and nieces and nephews, Savannah, Barach, Halle, Chisholm Skinner, Kallen and Kora Fite.
