Travis Vaughn Hawk

Funeral services for Travis Vaughn Hawk, 37, El Reno resident, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, officiated by Rev. Ellis Rolette, Rev Wayne Wilson and Rev. Lawrence Hart.

A wake service will be from 7 to 8: 30 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.

Hawk died early Monday, May 4, 2015, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born Feb. 19, 1978 in Lawton, the son of Marlin Randall Hawk and JoRene Marie (Wilson) Hawk.

Hawk was raised in Aurora, Colo., where he attended Hinckley High School, and he continued his education at Haskell Indian Nation University in Lawrence, Kan., as well as attending Southwest Indian Polytechnic Institute in Albuquerque, N.M.

He had made his homes in Aurora, Colo. and Anadarko and El Reno in Oklahoma.  He had been employed in retail sales.

Hawk was a member of the Cheyenne Tribe and the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Marlin Hawk, of El Reno and JoRene Martinez, of Shawnee; a sister, Tracey Hawk, of Del City; three brothers, Carey Hawk, and his wife, Kelly, of Parker, Colo., Jon Hawk, and his wife, Samantha, of Denver, Colo., and Chad Martinez, and his wife, Shannon, of Shawnee; three nephews; and four nieces.

Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery.
