Softball will host 100-inning game

At 9 a.m. Saturday July 30th, the Clinton softball team will start a tradition previously done by new head coach Lisa Moss, a 100-inning softball game up at the high school’s field.
Moss began doing this at her prior schools to raise money for the upcoming softball seasons. The money will go towards field maintenance, uniforms and equipment.
“The girls go around and get pledges or donations,” Moss said. “They can get a donation based upon how many innings they play. For instance, they’ll give you a dollar for every inning you play. Or a lot of people what they do is give a flat donation. All the money that is raised goes to the girls.”
