The Lady Red's soccer team advances to it's first ever state title game beating Metro Christian tonight 6-5 in Penalty kicks.
CATOOSA – The Clinton girls’ track team defended its 4x100 state title edging out Idabel’s 49.92 with a Lady Reds’ first-place time of 49.48 Saturday.
Ariana Borjas received a perfectly placed overhead pass and scorched a quarterfinals-clinching goal past Newkirk’s goalie pushing Clinton’s lead to 3-0 with 54.1 seconds remaining in the game.
BLANCHARD – A six-run third inning proved to be just enough for the Harrah Panthers, as they ended Clinton baseball’s 2017 season Friday night with an 11-9 win in the regional elimination game.
Clinton girls soccer beat Newkirk 3-0 in the state quarterfinals Friday night. They improved to 16-1 and will face Metro Christian (16-1) Tuesday at either 6 or 6:30 p.m. at the Tornado Bowl.
