Lady Reds can’t keep pace with Sayre
SAYRE – Clinton girls’ basketball (6-13) kept the score within reach for much of its contest Tuesday night at Sayre, but the Lady Reds never overcame the 2A No. 19 Lady Eagles falling 41-29.

SAYRE – After falling behind 35-22 at half, the Clinton boys’ basketball team (7-13) used a 32-13 third quarter to overtake the lead and hold on for a 74-68 win at Sayre Tuesday night.
Clinton Parks and Recreation held its annual Youth Volleyball League this past month for girls from first to sixth grade.
Arapaho-Butler sent its seniors out with home wins Friday, as the girls (6-16) used a strong fourth quarter to get past Class B No. 8 Erick 38-32, while the boys (18-6) rolled to a 49-20 win.
Despite a season-high 21 points from Chris Brooks Friday, the Reds (6-13) were unable to keep pace in the third quarter falling 63-55 to Cache (7-10) in this year’s homecoming matchup.
