Fire department responds to fire possibly caused by space heater

Firefighters were on the scene Wednesday afternoon at the apartments located at 105 S. 11th St. to put out a fire that originated at the southwest corner of the building. Nobody was home at the time of the blaze, but firefighters were able to rescue a dog located inside the apartment.
