Two hurt as semi wrecks

It took only three days for the first major accident to occur on the newest part of Interstate 40 that’s being resurfaced.
A new semi pulling a CRST box trailer overturned shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday in the single-lane area of a nine-mile stretch that’s being worked on, starting at the east edge of Clinton and going east. Ten Clinton firefighters struggled for 45 minutes before getting the truck’s two occupants, a man and his wife, out of the cab.
