Margaret ‘Peggy’ Dunnington

Graveside services for Margaret Martha “Peggy” (McLaughlin) Dunnington, 92 year-old Pueblo, Colo. resident, formerly of Clinton, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at the Hydro Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Dunnington died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014. She was born Aug. 23, 1922.in Anthony, Kan. She grew up near Clinton, where she met the love of her life, Olen, marrying in 1949.

They moved to Pueblo in 1953, where they resided thereafter. They were married for 65 years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include her husband, Olen; a son, Darryl Dunnington and his wife, Patty; a daughter, Sherry Romero and her husband, Tony; grandchildren, Derek Dunnington, Sarah Romero, Jenny

Dunnington and her husband, James MacIndoe, and Thomas Romero and his wife Amber; two great-grandchildren due soon; two sisters, Lena Klein and her husband, Mark, and Zora “Sis” Nieto and her husband, Greg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home in Weatherford.
