Softball shut down in Tuttle doubleheader

Clinton softball (1-12 overall) failed to record a run in its doubleheader losses to Tuttle (10-3 overall) Tuesday at home.
Head coach Lisa Moss said the team’s effort wasn’t lacking. Tuttle has a solid softball team and she understands where they rank in 4A.
“Overall, I was pleased with the girls,” she said. “I thought we played for all the innings that we were in. Tuttle’s a really good team. They are a top eight state tournament team. There’s just going to be some days where the other team is better than you.”
