Robert Wade “Toot” Gholston

Robert Wade “Toot” Gholston, 69, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on April 6, 1949 in Clinton, Oklahoma to George Darrell and Mildred Ann (Green) Gholston and went to be in his eternal home on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at his residence with his wife at his side. 
He married Debra Brown on September 20, 1997, at Foss Lake, Oklahoma.
“Toot” was a member of the Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and Christian Motorcyclist Association.  His hobbies included riding his motorcycle, being out in his shop working on motorcycles, fishing and going to Sonic in the convertible. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home. Following visitation, at his request cremation will follow.  
A Celebration of “Toot’s” Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory is his wife, Debra, of the home;  son, Kane Gholston of Chattanooga, Oklahoma;  two daughters,  Jamie Davis and her husband Jimmy of Walters, Oklahoma, Karie Kadivar and husband Aryan of Lawton, Oklahoma; one step-son, Les Brown of Elk City, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Donna Jay of Dallas, Texas;  three grandchildren, Taylor Davis of Lawton, Oklahoma, Ty Davis of Walters, Oklahoma and Vann Kadivar of Lawton, Oklahoma;  one step-grandson Nick Jay and his wife Nicole of Rowlett, Texas; one step-great-granddaughter Shelby Jay of Rowlett, Texas.  
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Gholston and brother Mark Gholston.
