Arlene Harmonson

A chapel service will be held for Arlene Sue Harmonson, 58, of Norman at 2 p.m. Friday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
She died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the Oklahoma Veterans Center at Norman after battling heart disease.
Harmonson was born Oct. 22, 1959, to Clyde B. and Geraldine F. Johnson in Lawton. 
She joined the U.S. Army in 1981 and served until 1994. She had been stationed in Germany, Colorado and Hawaii, and served in Operation Desert Storm. 
She was preceded in death by her parents. 
Survivors include a son, Christopher Meeks of Newcastle; a daughter, LaTausha Harmonson of Childress, Texas; her grandchildren, Arlayah FayAnne Harmonson, Ace Roberto Munoz and Kyla Michelle Meek of Oklahoma City and Colton James Meek of Edmond; four sisters, Tammy Craddick of Lubbock Texas, Virginia Penrod and husband Kirt of Tulsa, Gina Buchholz and husband Richard of El Reno, and Martha Stanford and husband Jeff of Butler; and two brothers, Clyde Johnson Jr. of Murray, Ken., and James Johnson and wife Yvette of Arapaho. 
Services will be held under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
