Naomi Faye Hagerman

Funeral services for Naomi Faye Hagerman, 79, Sweetwater, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Sweetwater School Multi-Purpose Room, officiated by Bro. Charlie Floyd.

Mrs. Hagerman died Monday, July 14, 2014, at her home near Sweetwater. She was born Sept. 5, 1934 in the Grimes community, Roger Mills County, to Virgie Nina and William Conward Kahoa.

She attended and graduated from Sweetwater School. She married Charles Leonard Hagerman at Elk City on Sept. 1, 1951.

Her husband farmed and ran a dairy while she worked for a time in the cafeteria at the Shamrock Hospital and Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City.

In 1981, they opened the 100th Meridian Stop on the Oklahoma/Texas line, which she operated until her health no longer allowed.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; a grandson, Clint Harrold; a brother, Mike Kahoa; a son-in-law, Fred Fleener III; and a step great-granddaughter, Nesha Greer.

Survivors include her children, Charles Leroy Hagerman, Sayre, Lynn Conward Hagerman and his wife, Kay, Geary, Clara Faye Howell and her husband, Kevin, Hull, Ill., Virginia Ellen Roller and her husband, Gary, Clinton, Ida Mae Fleener, Garland, Texas, Victoria Gail Harrold and her husband, Ronnie, Sayre, Glenda Kay Calverley and her husband, Tommy, Sayre, and Janet Joy Hanson and her husband, Richard, Sweetwater; 25 grandchildren, Sharlene, Leslie, Sandy, C.J., Robin, Mandy, Colby, Jennifer, Nellidene, Kevin, Kristina, Levi, Nicholas, James, Natalie,  Fred IV, Whitney, Kody, Terri, Andrea, Jaycee, Richard, Jana, Stacie and Robert; 44 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a brother, A.A. “Junior” Kahoa, Collinsville; and a sister, Connie Jefcoat, Reydon.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Sweetwater Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 57, Sweetwater, OK 73666.

Burial will be at Mulberry Cemetery, under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Elk City.
