Labor Day golf meet almost full

As of Thursday morning, 71 teams were signed up for this year’s big Labor Day Golf Tournament at the Riverside Golf Course.
That was two more than the 69 golf pro Kent Miller had reported at Wednesday’s meeting of the Golf Advisory Board, and he thought then the 69 was excellent considering the drop-off in this area’s oil and gas economy.
“We may lose some, but if we can keep 65, I think we’re doing really good based on this year’s economy,” Miller told the GAB.
