Martin lands title role for OKC Ballet

Clinton native Walker Martin will take center stage April 15-17 at the Oklahoma City Music Hall when the Oklahoma City Ballet whisks audiences away to Neverland with four performances of Peter Pan.

Martin began dancing at age 3, receiving his primary dance training at the Western Oklahoma Ballet Academy in Clinton under the teaching of Penny Askew. 

He was a member of the Western Oklahoma Ballet Theatre from 2004-2011, performing soloist roles in story ballets such as The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, The Wizard of Oz, and Alice In Wonderland, in addition to being featured in numerous works of original choreography.
