The Cumberland Presbyterian Women (CPW) will hold their 35th annual Salad Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in the church’s fellowship hall, 500 S. 30th St.
This will mark the 35th year CPW has held the salad luncheon to raise funds for the group.
CPW president Canda Dupree said the first Cumberland Presbyterian Church was built in Clinton in 1948 and the women’s group, which meets every month, got its start around the same time.
