Clinton softball lost its home opener Tuesday to the Fairview Yellowjackets by a score of 21-6.
Despite a tough home opening loss, head coach Lisa Moss said she thought the team’s mental toughness stood out.
“Overall, I’m really impressed,” she said. “The last two innings, we could’ve laid down, tucked our tails between our legs and went and hid in the dugout. The game could’ve been bad, but the girls found a way to score some runs.”
