Saturday’s muddy football scrimmage against El Reno didn’t have an official score, but the Clinton Red Tornadoes came out on top.
The scrimmage was supposed to be played Friday night. But a storm rolled in, and delayed the game until Saturday morning.
The Reds opened the season with a solid showing against the 5A Indians. But, the start didn’t look too promising. El Reno started the scrimmage on offense and went on a long, methodical scoring drive. The Reds defense adjusted accordingly by not giving up another score all night.
